When Scot-Angus Jeremiah "Jeremy Blade" Campbell III took a pint of blood from Gloriana Eloisa "Glory" St. Clair, he converted her into what he is, a vampire. However, though lovers or fighters more or less over the past couple of centuries since her conversion, she has never forgiven him for changing her when she was bloated. Au contraire to the Stoker mythos, the shape you were in when changed is your eternal shape. So instead of model thin, Glory is "full-figured".

Successful entrepreneur Glory travels to be part of Vintage Vamp's Emporium. However, Blade worries about her as a self-financed lethal slayer using modern technology is hunting down vampires. Since Glory never took the time to explore her vampiric powers, Blade turns alpha male and demands she move in to his coffin digs so he can keep her safe. Glory likes the idea of sharing his coffin, but decides to protect herself as she plans to hunt the hunter as no one, no matter how dangerous they may be, will keep her from the latest fashion as offered at the Vintage Vamp's Emporium.

REAL VAMPIRES HAVE CURVES and much more as fans of paranormal chick lit will want to take a bite out of Gerry Bartlett's amusing tale. The cast makes the story as Glory and Blade insure the audience believes that vampires are everywhere from the all night mini-mart to the neighborhood bartender. Glory is terrific as she holds the amusing storyline together with her fashion sense overriding her common sense; whereas readers will appreciate her antics, Blade figuratively is ready to kill her. This is a fun time for the subgenre reader.
