Ian Fleming, Casino Royale

I have put 10/10 for value for money, since I bought the 10 for £9.99 by making use of an offer from "The Book People". It did take a while for the books to come, but it is still a good deal.

The Casino Royale book by Ian Fleming was not exactly what I expected. For one thing it was only 181 pages long. It was not a hard read, so I would suggest it for teenagers and above. It was an exciting read, but I was never really drawn into the book. Bonds coldness made you step away from the character. It was a distinctly mediocre book. I will probably read the other 9 books, but I was however left a bit disappointed, as it is supposed to be a modern classic.
