David Benioff, City of Thieves

Couldn't put it down. Benioff's narrative, whilst descriptive enough to make war torn Russia a reality for the reader is fast paced enough to keep you interested. The story is original and funny (despite the atrocities of war) and actually pretty ridiculous (although it never seems pointless) highlighting what people are prepared to go through in such a situation. I was recommended this book by a friend and i will certainly pass on the recommendation.
