Ghostwalker Jack Norton remains euphoric that he has found his soulmate Briony Jenkins (see CONSPIRACY GAME). However, as exhilarated as Jack is, his brother Ken believes he too may have his "programmed" beloved Mari, Briony's twin sister. However, to meet "his woman" for the first time is not quite simply having your brother and his woman introduce you, as he has been a "guest" of Insane Dr. Whitney and his training indoctrination.

Ken plans to rescue his soul mate from the odious Whitney. However, though he succeeds, she refuses to ignore her "sisters" in bondage though Mari is elated that her twin lives and is concerned that she desires her newest "jailer" Ken.

This is not the Ken Norton of the Ali broken jaw fight or his son the Cowboys' former linebacker. Instead he is the latest GhostWalker who is psychically enhanced yet emotionally is damaged but believes his beloved will save his soul. In some ways Mari, who is no Barbie doll, is the more fascinating character as readers met up front and personal firecracker Ken in the previous thriller. Together they make an attractive and powerful pairing as Christine Feehan heats up the Game with this terrific deadly conspiracy.
