In My Opinion The Worst Of The Seven Haryy Potter
In my opinion the worst of the seven Haryy Potter books. I truthfully wouldn't recommend to a friend if it wasn't part of the amazing Harry Potter series. This book is a let down; it is simply far too long with very little content. Halfway through I honestly wondered why I was still reading it. The storyline was clever and the story for all ages was written with wit and originality but there were too many chapters (let alone pages) that were unnecessary and dull. It is important that you read The Order of the Phoenix if you intend to read the series (which I strongly suggest you do if for some insane reason you haven't already).
I agree, the book was too long, and halfway through I was seriously considering giving up on it. In my opinion it was going around in circles with no real high or low point. In the end it felt like a chore as I could not wait to read the next book but needed to read this one first.

Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix Is The M
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the most imaginative, action-packed, fun, sorrowful, aggrivatingly enjoyable book in the series. 766 pages of Harry Potter? Dream come true!

All Of The Usual Characters Are In The Book And We
All of the usual characters are in the book and we are introduced to a few new ones, the events that take place are engrossing and a relationship moves forward only to fall at the first hurdle. An engrossing read and one I recommend.

Rowling Is A Master Of Control, As She Proves Agai
Rowling is a master of control, as she proves again in Order of the Phoenix. Characters' motives and off-screen actions are withheld and then revealed with perfect timing. The final chapter masterfully ties together plot threads that Rowling has teased us with, as early as book one. Even after 5 books, Rowling still has not run out of imagination about the world of wizards and witches. In this book she continues to delight us with just-for-fun tidbits, like chess pieces that tremble in fear of being captured, and a "bad guy" who gets turned into a slug on the Hogwarts Express and "left on the luggage rack to ooze."
Best of all, the characters in the book remain true to themselves, and act and speak exactly as their character, and not the plot, demands.
But the book has its problems too. There is a heavy dose of Deus Ex Machina in Order of the Phoenix. The number of times Harry and his friends are rescued from doom by the sudden and convenient appearance of Dumbledore, centaurs, giants, and other plot devices strains credulity. Stories are more exciting when characters escape danger using their own wits, rather than relying on outsiders to rescue them. Rowling should also have hired a more assertive editor. Entire paragraphs and pages could be lifted without injuring the story, or her otherwise delightful style. In this installment, she has become too indulgent in unnecessary dialogues and repetitions of characters' feelings. (I yawned after reading for the 12th time, that Harry was furious with Snape). The first 300 pages are a very slow read, as they are little more than shouting matches, uttered threats, and forebodings. Rowling should have cut to the "good stuff" (pages 301-766) faster. The book's biggest weakness is that Harry himself has become unlikeable, and I found it hard to keep cheering for him. He unleashes tirades and tongue-lashings at everyone around him, including and especially those who are trying hardest to help him. And his utter insensitivity to a girl who develops a crush on him, almost turned him into a villain for me.

This Book Is An Integral Part Of The Series As Rev
This book is an integral part of the series as revelations help bring the reader to deeper insights on the storyline but it's more of a book of "information" rather than a book of "story". It's less fast-paced than the other series.

J.k. Rowling, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Ph
J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: The fifth installment of the 7 book saga of Harry Potter brings him to deeper, more mature territory. J.K. Rowling yet again takes the story into a new height here as we see out hero face not only the dangers of the newly revived Voldemort but also the doubts and disbelief of the wizarding community. Much is revealed in this one and one will see the connection of the previous books through the truths unveiled here. This book has so much energy that you keep reading it from start to finish again and again. In this book, Harry's safe walls are being broken as even the school, Hogwarts, itself is not something he should totally trust. The beacon of hope and justice that is the Ministry of Magic has been stained. The security is gone and he must rely on the bonds of friendship and love to overcome the terrible powers that are awakening. Still, the magic is there and the ride is shorter than the thickness of the spine of the book. This book will certainly raise the stakes and will successfully pave the way for the sixth one.

J.K Rowling's Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is one of my favourite of all books. I am pretty sure, it's no wastage of your money, but rather an excellent piece to add in your library. Do read it!
