This Was A Shame. When Charlie Higson Got The Job

This was a shame. When Charlie Higson got the job to write the Young James Bond he ahd a great oppertunity. Afterall Ian Flemming had laid down the foundations.

Silverfin; Book 1 was good. But from there I think it went down hill and 'By Royal Command' really fell off the cliff.

I think it was boring. Totally boring. James was out of character, he met the queen? king? and travelled alone across europe. This is in 1939. No mention of how he got mnye for food, train fairs ect.

far to mcuh detail of scenary, and not issues. Slow.

Great Britain has some of the best Young Adult writers in the world.

Anthony Horowitz: Alex Rider

Mark A Cooper; Jason Steed

J.K Rowling; Harry Potter

Joe Craig: Jimmy Coates

Robert Muchamore: Cherub

All the above are brilliant authors and have created some of the worlds greatest fictional characters. So why would The Ian Flemming trust use an unknown writer to write about Young Bond?

I had to get that off my chest.
