I Was Given This Book By My Sister A While Back No

I was given this book by my sister a while back now, I believe it was about 20p from a Jumble Sale. When she gave it to me, I have no idea who Piers Morgan was or what the book was about. It took me a while to get into, and I'm not a fan of struggling to get into a book, but I had nothing else to read, so I continued. I'm glad I did, the first half of the book was an interesting read, it covered various celeb scandles, Labour winning the election and Princess Diana's death, plus all the lies and hurt she was subjected to leading up to her death.

After getting halfway through this book I started to feel sorry for this guy. It can't have been easy being so young and editing a big paper. As well as this, he cleverly explained how newspapers get tricked into fake stories and pictures but when it was a few minutes to sending the paper live, he always seemed to have made the wrong desicions and sometimes he made the right ones but was still slated by the public.

Talking to a guy at work a few days after starting to read this book only to find out Piers Morgan is probably one of the most hated men in the world. I was not fully aware of his wrong doings, and am not at liberty to stick up for someone I dont know based on half a book. However I would encourage people who think outside the box to have a read. Its actually quite an interesting book!
