An Important Book About The Royal Ulster Constabulary

The book is written in very clear and straightforward language and tells the story of the corruption at the heart of the RUC Special Branch during the recent troubles. Brown spent 30 years in the force, mostly as a detective in the CID branch and was responsible for bring some very important murderers to justice. His brave, honest and modest personality shines through every page.

This Is An Autobiography Of A Detective Sergeant I

This is an autobiography of a Detective Sergeant in the Royal Ulster Constabulary, over 30 years from the early 1970s. The book gives an excellent insight into the work of the RUC, and to the internal strife between the CID and Special Branch. It is an excellent read for those interested in policing or the Northern Ireland 'troubles'.
