Griff Rhys, Jones Semi-Detached

Griff had a relatively normal childhood. So normal, in fact, that it really begs the question whether it was worth writing about. Few of the characters are especially engaging, he goes back looking for places - half of which he can't find - and even when he gets to university, he manages to make the Cambridge Footlights sound dull. Stephen Fry and Bill Bryson wrote well about their early years, but sadly Griff has little to say and not much style to offer it with. Amazon wouldn't publish this, they must have pallets full of them.
