Tree Top Adventure
my family have annual tickets to woburn safari park. Yesterday my youngest of 6yrs wanted to try the Tree Top Adventure but got scared half way round. I just want to say the gentleman working on the Tree Top Adventure called John was amazing! My son is very shy and John was able to give my son the confidence to complete the Adventure with his assistance, and spoke to my son in a kind gentle manner at all times. I was really impressed with his skills with children. He is extremely good at his job.

Good But Pricey
Woburn Safari Park has plenty to offer. When you are touring, it is but natural to try and experience and see as much as you can in a country and a city. Since I have always loved nature, I always go for safaris and zoos. Woburn Safari Park is not a disappointment.
Close Encounter
Although we didn't get to touch exotic animals, we were able to see enough. We rode a 4x4 to go around the park. It was nice to see animals that are able to roam around their natural habitat freely. The whole point of going to see them is to get a taste of their life. A zoo cages them, Woburn respects the animals' world.
We were given enough time during stops to watch the animals go about their business. We were given time to take photos. We were also given enough information on what we are looking at.
Endangered Species
There were a lot of animals to see but I didn't see a lot of endangered species. We were told there are some roaming around but seeing them is also a function of luck. We can only hope they show up.
Price
My primary concern is the price. I think it is a good experience but not better than African Safari and they are almost the same price.
However, if you are a nature tripper and you happen to be in the city, I'd recommend this one any given Sunday.

Pricey But Ok
I've never been to a safari park where you drive through and see the animals so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect.
I guess I had visions of leisurely driving along a road with little or no other people around, just animals. I was very wrong!
We entered the park and then essentially sat in a very long queue of traffic for 30 minutes only moving about 500 yards. The kids in the back got bored as we didn't see much, I got frustrated as I kept having to edge the car forward 5 yards, stop, hard brake on, edge a bit more, stop etc. It felt like rush hour in london, not that relaxing at all.
So, we ditched the drive through bit and took a short cut to the zoo part (ie the bit where you can get out and walk around)
It was pretty good - reasonably small - but quite good. Not amazing, but kept the kids entertained for an hour or so.
So, I'd say its worth going, but maybe go out of kids holiday season (if you can) as sitting in a queue of traffic is quite a dull way to spend a morning....
The other thing that surprised me is the price. For a 3 year old we had to pay £15, which is pretty steep in my opinion.

We Arrived At The Main Gates, parked Up And Looked
We arrived at the main gates, parked up and looked for a notice board with details of attractions that maybe closed and of times of shows.Could not find anything,so we paid £20.00 each an entered.there was 4 main animals not available to see,5 retail outlets not open,3 kids play areas closed.
sent a letter to woburn and there response was,We cannot staff everthing all the time so these things would need to be closed, and we dont advertise the fact we have attractions closed for renovation ! What a attitude to the paying public,We have your money now be happy with what you got.
JUST 1 other thing,1 of our party had a fall on some broken tarmac,no real injuries just a couple of grazes luckly,WOBURN say if there first aiders or first aid book were not informed of the fall it was obviously not worth attending...

Woburn Safari Park Is Terrific. The Animals S
Woburn Safari Park is terrific.
The animals seem to be healthy and seem to have enough space.
The monkeys in particular are such fun and guaranteed to make you laugh.
Anyone who is tired of depressing zoos should head off to find this terrific family fun spot.
The only improvement might be adding one or two more roadsigns to make sure we dont get lost. Dont get freaked out..its actually not hard to find at all though
I Think The Customer Service In Woburn Safari Park
I think the customer service in Woburn Safari Park was very good, the staff were very polite. The lady in the bus was very helpful and told as all about health and safety she was speaking very politely and clearly. All of the staff there were very helpful.

Plenty to see and numerous shows in the centre area of Woburn Safari Park. Kids love feeding the birds and watching the sealion show. If you didn't see something close enough on the car circuit you can visit the central area and then complete another circuit later.

It's A Fantastic Day Out At Woburn Safari Park, No
It's a fantastic day out at Woburn Safari Park, no matter who you are or how old you are!! We love it, and the experience for the children to be so close to all sorts of wild animals was amazing!!
It is expensive to eat or drink there. Even ice creams, but you've got to go! You'll never have another experience like it unless you go to Africa!!
