Great Day Out!!
I have just returned from a short break at Alton Towers with my partner and little boy who was 4 on the day we went.
We all really enjoyed the time we spent in the water park, The slides were good and I was able to take my son on one which he really enjoyed. The outdoor pool and seating area was really good too.
I was really impressed with how clean the changing rooms and pool area were and also by the amount of life guards on duty. You could also borrow life jackets for children if you have no armbands etc with you.
There was plenty for kids to do and the whole place had a really good fun vibe to it. I wouldn't say you could stay all day as not enough to do in my opinion but could stay couple of hours.
I would definately recommend it.

You Expect Alton Towers Cariba Creek To Be As Outs
You expect alton towers cariba creek to be as outstanding as the theme park, You'll be greatly disappointed. You spend half your time queuing and fraction of the time on the ride, just as the theme park. The place, i am reliaby informed, was initially opened for the hotel pool, which you had to pay for. But then they got greedy and decided to open it to the public. The place is far too crowded when we went, and there were no chairs within 30 mins, because the hotel is allowed in first. Personally i would not recommend this place at all, it is fr to small for £12.50, and can be done in a few hours. It was such a disappointment! to the extend i have complained to them to raise my concerns!!

I Think Alton Towers Resort's, Alton Towers Waterp
I think Alton Towers Resort's, Alton Towers Waterpark is one if not the best waterpark I've ever been to! Inside is very warm and clean. All the slides and attractions are great, the queue's are sometimes a bit longer than you'd expect but it didn't spoil the visit. The waterpark includes Lagoona Bay: the main swimming pool, Wacky Waterworks Treehouse: an interactive water adventure with water guns, jets and a massive tipping bucket, Rush & Rampage: two tube slides, Foamburst Master Blaster: a water-coaster that shoots riders up aswell as down, Flash Floods: outdoor flume adventures (the water is still very warm) and two hot tubs the Bubbly Wubbly pool and Volcanic Springs. Inside also for the little ones is a Lazy River with tipping buckets etc and the Little Leak childrens area. Altogether a great family day out and well worth the £14 price.

I Was Going To Take My Grandson To Hanley Water Wo
I was going to take my Grandson to Hanley Water World but went to Alton Towers instead.
I paid in advance so fully expected to sail through, wrong! There was only one girl on the reception desk dealing with a large group & this took ages. thought this was so poor on a Saturday morning. Eventually we got in & changed. There wasn't a huge amount to do & the outside was closed off until just after midday. It was also cold inside, considering you are getting wet it needs to be warm. We decided to have a sandwich for lunch, an average sort of price for these places, around 4.50 for a wrap. There were only around half a dozen tables in this eating area & they were all full...No matter I thought we will sit on one of the satts around the pool. This was like a really bad holiday complex because ALL the chairs had towels across them. This should not be allowed, though how to stop it is hard I suppose.
We decided to leave because we were cold & then tried to find a shower. Very poor indeed.... There were only 3 showers with doors so you could have a proper shower & one of the locks on them was broken! And around 10/12 communual showers.
My grandson seemed to enjoy it, but I will not be going back again in a hurry.
Alton Towers Water World get your act together.......
next time go to waterworld. it's very good and cheaper. can get vouchers on their website.

Festive Break. Really Great Value For A Night And
Festive break. Really great value for a night and 2 days away, with young children. Waterpark, theme park rides, crazy golf childrens entertainmen disco and breakfast all included. Lots of fun and relaxing. Room was small but had everything needed and was clean. Staff were very polite and gave great service in hotel reception and restaurants. Could have done with more info on website but the break did not dissapoint.

I Like It Beacause It Was Fun Had Water Slides, Ri
i like it beacause it was fun had water slides, rides, lazy river, bubble bath. it would be good for all ages. the service is great. the service is eat what you want and drink, do what ever you like do not have to be a height or you may have to be a gae for some rides and water rides.i liked about it beacause i met loads of new mates. i would have liked to know what it have been like and looked like and what population it was. what people have rated it out of 10 like i would rate it out of 10 like 10/10, i like the bucket which is a massive buck fills up with water and tips over and all the water goes onto a roof and splashes down on you. the name is plash landings water park or cariba creek. carrying on with the bucket it splashes on you then goes back up and fills up to the top and tips over again and keeps going in that process and the bucket is blue, then behind that is a ride and next to the ride theres to water slides.

We Had Originally Intended To Visit Waterworld In
We had originally intended to visit Waterworld in Stoke, (which I have visited some years ago and thoroughly enjoyed) but changed our minds in favour of the Alton Towers waterpark when we read that Waterworld had become overcrowded and run-down.
It looked good but there basically wasn't much to do for either the children (under 5's) or adults. The outside slides did not open until 12.15pm and when they did, they were slow and extremely cold. Although there was no height restriction on the slides, the little ones were not allowed to ride on our laps. The rapids were nothing more than an eddie and there was only 1 (very small) slide for children under 1.1m.
In order to get on the bigger slides, you had to wait for an inflatable ring before queueing up for the ride. There were no instructions to explain this and the queue for the master blaster, (which was good but nearly ripped my bikini bottoms off) was over an hour long. the rush and rampage ride was OK but not worth the wait.
There is no real swimming area and the majority of space is taken up by various pieces of equipment designed for pouring water over people. There was inadequate seating for the numbers using the complex and the people who arrived first had left towels on the seats to reserve them for the rest of the day.
All in all, this was a thoroughly disappointing experience with a real sting in the tail, (from the excessively strong chlorine whcih left my face red-raw for 24 hours afterwards). It may be Ok for Alton Towers Hotel guests to kill a couple of hours in the evening but Carriba Creek certainly did not constitute a day out for my family.

Went To Cariba Creek Waterpark On The Parent Toddl
went to Cariba Creek Waterpark on the parent toddler offer for £5, and to be honest im glad i didnt pay the full price because its a bit of a let down - theres not really a great deal to do, it seems big but most things to play with are just water pourers, the childrens area is a bit naff - there are only two small slides for them to play on which adults cannot use with their children, the rapids are really slow so u have to practically push yourself round in the donuts, the changing areas is really cold too so i suggest takin a towel for children to the poolside.
i would much rather recommend waterworld, its cheaper and much more to do!
