21 Of Us Had A Wonderful Day At Pleasurelandsouthport Great

On the 5th July 2015 21 members of my family ( 8 from Canada )decided on a day out at Pleasureland Southport . We had a wonderful day full of fun and laughter , the younger end of the family between them tried all the rides .

Even the adults in the party had a go on the dodgems the watershoot and the rollercoaster . A few days earlier we were on the pier in Llandudno they had a ball shape ride in water which was a lot more fun than the one at Southport . Worth a look .

The only disappointment for me was the Disabled toilet . The toilet is too low and not enough aids/handels to help you get off the toilet .

I also thought the baby changing facilities were poor although that didn't affect me personally .

When we had finished some of the party went on the go cart track again a good time was had .

To finish off our day in Southport we went to the Brewers Fayre close by for a meal . The restaurant was very busy , when we said we had a party of 21 they opened up a special room away from the crowds . We had excellent service that finished off a wonderful day in Southport .

Great Family Trip, Spend As Little Or As Much As You Want

Had a nice day out in Southport today and noticed that the fair was open again. Spent a great hour at Pleasureland; spent £15 on 3 rides each for our 3 children aged 3-13. No queing, nice and clean. Great easy going fun, will go again soon!

Great Day Out At New Pleasureland Southport!

Went last week to new pleasureland (24th March 2012) and i must admit it's looking a lot better than previous years and Free entry unlike some places. New rides lots of bright coloured painting been done, and after speaking to a staff member, was informed that there will be even more rides and new cafe's ect for easter and summer, so looks as if the old place is back on the up!! It certainly looked it. We had a fantastic time! so well done to whoever has aquired the place, keep it up:) Can't wait now for easter as we will definitely be going back!

Please look at Matilda by Roald Dahl.I like Matilda because it is funny and Miss Trunchbull threw a boy.My favtoriue bit was when Matilda knocks Miss Trunchbull's glass over without touching it.I would recomend this book for older child.

Total Disappontment !!!

We had a voucher for 10 free rides if you have one paying customer per ride (which my daughter brought home from school.)

Before we left for pleasure land Southport we read all the small print to make sure we could use it at the weekend or bank holiday NOWHERE on the voucher said WE COULDN'T.

When we got there we tried to redeem our vouchers only to be told we couldn't use them over the bank holiday weekend. I tried explaining that there was nowhere on the voucher that said this but the manager just couldn't be bothered he could see my children were upset but all's we got was a big fat NO!!!

The total unprofessonalism of this place is astounding.

To actually send these vouchers out to children in schools without the correct information is disgusting.

My advice would be don't bother going not only are they unprofessional but the rides are old and clapped out the place needs a good refurb!!!!

Robbery

Having visited the site with my two children (both under 8 years) I found most rides good value at 1 token, each token costing £1.

However, when my son wanted a ride on the dodgems I was a little taken back at the cost... only because he’s not quite big enough to ride alone, I was asked for 4 tokens for the two of us to ride in a single car

That’s £4 for a 2minute ride

When I asked the manger if it was correct, he replied ‘take it or leave it’ and with this I won’t be returning or recommending the park to anyone I know...

We Go To Southport Every Year I've Been Going Sinc

We go to Southport every year I've been going since I was a child, now I take my children. I can remember the original pleasure land and was totally devastated when it closed down but we have still carried on going for day trips and weekends. It would be a very good idea as someone else stated to have a wristband policy and could do with a little tidying up but we still love it and will carry on visiting! Praise to them for trying

Needs Vast Improvement As It Basically Is Just A F

Needs vast improvement as it basically is just a funfair now. Would be better value if there was an option to have a wristband for e.g.£15. Some staff seemed miserable and one was even smoking whilst cleaning a ride. Hopefully in the next few years it will improve. Crazy Golf is still good and food/drink prces are reasonable
