Value For Money

Rubbish

Not good value for money at all! Very disappointing as we took our 7yr old for his birthday and our 4yr old, we all got fed up with the queues wether it was for the rides and food which by the way was expensive and not that great. The park itself is very tired and the staff dont have any enthusiasm at all. Just a huge waste of money as it was £61.00 for the 4 of us. My opinion if you want a good day out for young children head to the Dinosaur Park,Lenwade, Norwich.

Like Death..................................................

I have travelled far from Vietnam to visit this place and it was a complete let-down!! I had more fun falling over in my shower and breaking my neck than on wipeout! It was the height of my child and very disappointing! The only positive i have from the day was that i hit my head so much on the ride that my ears smell and ny glasses moulded into the sides of my face so now they fit perfeftly but i did have to see a doctor which was a negative. On the chair lift my child dropped her unicorn teddy into the lake below where savaging alligators must have ate it. I also hit my back so hard on the dodgems that it is permantly bruised. my favourite ride was the balloons where i sat and spun around with my crying child who had previously been biten by the park's viscous sea-lions. On the snake in the grass ride i stuck my hand out to high-five the ride operator and instead hit the wall and spained my wrist. So all in all, i had a wonderful day

Lived In Lowestoft All My Life And Have Probably B

Lived in lowestoft all my life and have probably been a hundred times as a child took myself, partner and his 2 six year old boys for a nice day out which turned out to be a very expensive average day. We paid 60 pounds for a family ticket, spent 17 pounds on some slop they call food and left feeling ripped off and pretty much dissapointed. The parrot show was good as were a few of the rides eg: snake in the grass which is very old but the kids loved it!, log flume and canonball express(think its called something different now), also loved the go carts but had to pay 3 pounds per car which we didn't mind too much as they were pretty good. Most of the staff were misererable especially the man who runs the bigger train he saw us about to get on and purposely drove off! However a few of the staff did make an effort by talking to the children and asking them if they enjoyed themselves. All in all was an ok day but not worth the money we paid! Won't be going back until some major work has been carried out really need some money put into it and I'm sure they make plenty from the cheap food they sell for premium prices.

This place is dirty and out for your money. This place needs a lot of love and attention.I would not give it a rating or value for money. The staff do not smile or look like they want to be there. In the restaurnt someone in there wisdom made the staff wear aprons and hats that look filthy. Blood and Body parts stuck all over. Rides you do not have to pay for shut, ones you do pay for open. The staff on those were talking to themselves. Oh what a happy place NOT.Lots of the same comments could be heard as you walked around. I did email but got no response,is what they think of there customers.

This Is Our Local Theme Park As A Result We Have V

This is our local theme park as a result we have visited a few times over a period of ten years and to be honest its a real shame because this park is struggling to keep up with other theme parks around the country. This year we have visited Thorpe Park & Southends Peter Pans & this place does not compare price, ride or otherwise. Food is expensive, staff miserable and place in need of lick of paint & some TLC. My son visited this week & left his mob phone in his rucksac in designated area at Wipeout when he came off the ride his phone was gone! I called to speak to the Manager who was not interested, rude, aggressive and put the phone down on me. My son spoke to the Wipeout staff who offered no help but enjoyed mocking my son & his friends. I contacted Police who say it quiet possible staff may have taken opportunity to steal phone whilst my son was on ride but there no CCTV, so no evidence. I have since spoke to various locals (some who have worked there)who were not surprised. The designated set down point for bags (cos you cant take them on ride) can only be accessed by staff whilst you on ride, i know it not right to accuse people but there is only one conclusion I can come up with, so beware!!!

In A Few Simple Words, What A Complete Waste Of Ti

In a few simple words, what a complete waste of time and money. Very few rides, some closed because of maintenance, others due to weather conditions (other theme parks manage to operate when raining etc.) When approaching customer services, the staff became very defensive when asked why rides were closed because it was raining.

Overall, don't bother if you're looking for atmosphere and extreme fun!

A Complete Waste Of Time And Money, same Old Rides

A complete waste of time and money, same old rides same but longer queues, standing in line for up to half an hour to be served food then to be told they have sold out of what you want even basics in the middle of the day.Staff rude and uncaring, this was a complete disappointment to what it was last year.the gift shop was stocked with expensive rubbish that you can get at cheap fairgrounds for pennies. In all a very miserable day out not to be recommended.

The Management Of This Park Should Hang There Head

The management of this park should hang there heads in shame at the current state of this outdated and tired theme park.

Anyone thinking of visiting Pleasure wood hills, please keep your money in your pocket and please do not put it in the pocket of the tight fisted share holders of what i will rename as deadwood.

There is just not enough rides at deadwood, what rides there are are old and appear to on there last legs. I get annoyed when I see rides closed because of apparent weather conditions, what they really mean is the ride is closed to save some money running it. Are you charge less when any of the rides are closed?

Of course not.

Like the old saying goes, you cannot polish a t-u-r-d. But the management of deadwood sure have tried rolling it in glitter.

A Lovely Place To Visit. Our Two Boys (4&7) Had A

A lovely place to visit. Our two boys (4&7) had a great time. The park was very clean and the food was good - not as expensive as some parks. The train rides are a great way to get around the park and the staff were helpful. Our 4 year old loved woody the bear. The sealions and the circus made the day complete.
