Best View In Town
This completely lived up to expectations with a fantastic view of the city (albeit on a day with very little cloud). Queuing times were not at all bad although we did go during the week and at roughly lunchtime. My advice - take your binoculars for an even better view.

Decent But There Is Better
I would recommend "Top of the Rock" instead, the Empire State Building has such a long line.. and it's not in the best area. Top of the Rock is by fifth avenue. and just nicer generally.
