London, River Thames Bateaux London

I received my Thames lunch cruise as a birthday present. The boat was really nice, we had a table for 2 next to the window so we had plenty to attactions to see. The food was absolutely delicious 3 lovely courses and we ordered a glass of wine to compliment the meal. The waiter service was excellant we could not fault it at all.

We have already recommended the cruise to all our friends.

Somebody bought me an experience package for Xmas. Now I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I always find these things more hard work than they're worth, and this has certainly turned out to be the case with this. My sister bought me a cruise on the Thames with a lunch for 2. All I had to do was to choose a date, call up Bateaux London and let them know.

Now for some reason, whenever you call them up, they never answer the phone. You can choose to leave a voicemail (which I've done repeatedly). If they call you back, they do so out of office hours (normally when I'm on the train commuting home, and therefore don't have the information they need to hand).

I first started contacting them at the start of March to try and organise a trip in June. They initially said that was fine, but needed more info from me. I've called them maybe 8 times since to give them the required info, and haven't heard anything from them. I eventually looked for other ways to contact them (email address available on their website), and dropped them an email, only to be told that the date I wanted to go on was now fully booked. They offered me another date, on which I'm fully booked.

The thing that is frustrating about this is that there is a time limit to this voucher, and it will likely expire before I get to use it, but not because I haven't trued to organise it, it'll all be done to Bateaux London's refusal to answer or return my calls!
