Very Nice Attraction

but a bit too PRICEY! also there are some queues that you don't feel like waiting every time.. BUT the theme is very nice and I was very satisfied about what I've found inside, once I actually managed to get in!

Amazing, But Overpriced If Paying Full Price

I came here for a day out with my family, and we all had fun! Three of us had merlin passes, and the other person had a 1/2 price ticket voucher.

On arrival we were faced with a long queue leading into a tacky looking entrance. The member of staff at the gates let us go straight in because only one of us was paying however. (Merlin pass holders get to skip the outside queue.) We bought the tickets inside before queueing some more. Then we were in!

The actual experience was amazing and the actors were doing a great job of scaring and acting out past scenes as well!

The dungeons features three rides, the first being a boat ride. Like the whole place this is atmospheric, and despite only having a small drop it felt a lot bigger. I won't spoil the surprise about the drop to you!

Vengeance was their new ride, advertised as a 5D laser shooting ride and it was amazing! First off, the 3D glasses were cardboard which made us wonder, but we weren't going to let that put us off.

The ride lasts about 5 minutes and consists of a disc of seats spinning round to face various 3D screens as they show you scenes, and while that happens you shoot at the zombies and ghosts on the screen!

Extemis: Drop ride to doom was the scariest of the three rides. It was a small drop ride in the dark, although the G - force felt like it was about 100ft high even though it was only about 20ft. It is also themed on being hanged, which adds to the experience, and the ride is a good way to end the London dungeons experience.

Overall the Dungeons is an amazing day out that most people will enjoy (although perhaps a bit scary for kids), with atmospheric rooms, convincing actors and audience participation. It also has a good sense of humour, but I wouldn't reccomend it to people who are easily offended. Also there are options to skip the last two rides, and I think that the boat ride (Traitor) could probably be skipped as well if you really didn't want to ride it.

Be prepared for an expensive but amazing day out with plenty of shocks!

(Watch out for the Jack the ripper room!)

If you are in London head down to Tooley street the the fright of your life!

I Went To The London Dungeon Expecting The Complet

I went to the London Dungeon expecting the complete opposite to the experience i received. We queued for about 15 minutes, a member of staff was entertaining the quests in the queue by giving children/teenagers or even adults some fun fake cuts and scars to fit in with the atmosphere with the dungeon , this took the boredom out of queuing for a bit anyway :)

On entering the Dungeon i was astounded to how well themed and spacious the room was. The price for us (2 people) was very good! bearing in mind the tour lasted for about 2 - 2 1/2 Hours!

First of all you get your picture taken in the stocks with your friends which you can have the choice of purchasing at the end,but there is no pressure!

Our groups consisted of about 15-20 which was enough because of the size of some of the rooms. We got led through in total of about 10-15 rooms, all which were fun and exciting to be in but you learnt alot about the past and things that happened. The best room was the Sweeney Todd room which every person sat in their own chair which was electric and you could feel wind behind your hair and snipping noises and it felt like sweeney todd was cutting your hair! it was scary also, and interactive because a member of the audience sat in front of everyone and the tour guide went through facts and how sweeney acted and what he did, The room then went silent and your chair flung back wards! just as if your head was being chopped off!!

The boat ride, was fun, being led through a secret path, but nothing too special except from water and wind and obviously fake sound effects around you being heard.

The highlight of my tour in london dungeon was defiantly the Drop ride. oh my god, it was fantastic, maybe because i like thrill rides but this was a great ending to a amazing tour. you get taken about 10-20 ft in the air and hang there for a while, and in front of you there are 4 men who are about to be hung, and this is what you feel like. And when you dont expect it you drop to the floor, which feels like 100000mph!

Overall a fantastic experience and i would defiantly reccomend it to any body, even if you are alone, its easy to make friends with your group :)

just take some 2 for 1 vouchers its much better value!

I Thought The Dungeons Were Brilliant, The Actorsz

i thought the dungeons were brilliant, the actorsz include you and the scenes are good, allthough it scares alot of older people so its proberably a no-go for youngsters :)

The new ride is also very good, but trust me, when they say if you have heart rpoblems dont ride... dont!! ;):)

The only bad part was that it moved on quite quickly from bit to bit :L

Only 1 Part Of The Tour Has Anything To Do With Du

Only 1 part of the tour has anything to do with dungeons. The rest is a guided tour of things that have happened in history.

The hall of mirrors is quite rubbish and you go round in circles till the guides are ready for you.

You finish the tour in a gift shop/pizza bar!

Better day is the Tower of London.

I found this review somewhat helpful because there inst enough information of what goes on in the dungeon and wouldn't help someone who would want to know more about the attraction, but a fair comment.

yellowtimechris

No I didn't go on the new one, I went on the boat ride like yourself.

The only good part of that was the reverse drop.

TwistedAngel

I notice you haven't mentioned the new 'Extremis' drop ride. Did you give it a go and if so is it any good? I've been before and went on the boat ride which is quite fun.
