Expensive For Under 5 Year Olds

Went for the day with 4 children under 5 years. There was a lot of activities unsuitable for younger children and quite frankly dangerous. The indoor play area was way too packed to be enjoyable. At £15.95 would not recommend for children under 5 years. Perfect for older children.

Great Family Fun

We had an unbeatable day at the Dinosaur adventure park. This is a great place to takes kids of any ages. I would, however, advise being extra dilligent with toddlers as there are some steep drops on the dinosaur walk and a few animals, but a little common sense will prevent any mishaps to your little ones. Our littlest is 15 months, and it didn't go over his head at all, he loved it as much as everyone. It has to be said that we thought the admission was quite expensive, but once inside the park you can understand why. The grounds are huge, with forest, gardens and lakes to upkeep, plus the maintenance of all the activities. You truly can spend the entire day running round with the children. If you grown-ups think its a bit lame, just take a look at the faces of all the junior explorers, they love it. And so will you if you have a little imagination. Some of the dinosaurs are a little tired looking, but then again, they were there when we used to go as children. However, there are some great new beasts as well. We were super impressed by the many adventure playgrounds, and the indoor playground was excellent, with a under 5's softplay for the tots and some vertical slides for the bigger kids. The secret animal garden was very sweet and a few exotic animals. The park was very clean and well maintained, and felt very safe. But as I mentioned before, common sense does help. Also, the excitement seems to turn some children a bit boistrous, but that is not really down to the Park to control. We will definately be returning year after year.

Peacock Attacked My 18 Month Old Son

We visited the Dinosaur Park on the 14th July 2012 with our 18 month old son and we had a pleasant morning, until  he was attacked by a peacock outside the gift shop. The Peacock charged at him and knocked him to the floor.   He was left with a scratch on his temple near to his eye.  He was very scared and so were we, he is an innocent an inquisitive 18 month old baby and the attack could have been much worse if it wasn't for the fast actions of my mother and I.

Members of staff from the gift shop witnessed at least some of the attack along with another member of staff who had been petting the Peacock and chatting to the women in the guest shop just moments before.  This member of staff briefly asked if our son was ok and then walked off towards the in door play area, he didn't seem to care much.  The young women from the gift shop just stood in the doorway smiling.

We attended to our son and when we returned we were alarmed to see the Peacock was still wandering around in front of the gift shop with young children approaching it. We were disgusted that no one had made any attempt to confine the bird.

Our son could have been seriously injured and the staff showed little sympathy.

The staff that witnessed the attack made no attempt to contact a senior member of staff of first aided to check on the well being of our son.

The peacock was left loose to roam about after the attack. He could have attacked another toddler.

Please please beware of the Peacock if you visit the park.

We Have Visited This Park Twice So Far And Are Vis

We have visited this park twice so far and are visiting again next year, my kids (2, 4 and 6 on last visit) thoroughly enjoyed the park as did myself and my husband, there is plenty to do for the admission price i think it is well worth it and a very laid back and relaxed day out. We always take pack lunches so can not comment on food prices or quality. I agree with others that you need a dry day to make the most of a day at the dinosaur park as it is open air, however i know they were/are building an indoor soft play area and there is a sheltered picnic area. If you get the offer for all 3 parks, banham zoo, africa alive and dinosaur for £30 per adult, £25 per child then i think it is a very good offer. I say have a visit and make your own mind up!

I Was Very Dubious About What This Park Would Be L

I was very dubious about what this park would be like, but we were all pleasantly suprised both by the size of the park and by the quality of the activities. First off, i always breath a sigh of relief when i spot a decent playground, and in this area the park excels. There's a seperate playground for the under 5's, and a big area for the older kids with massive dono slides, rope climbing frames etc. all really good stuff with handy picnic tables nearby for tired adults......the dino trail was great - our kids who are 2 and 4 were completely captivated by walking through the dark woodlands and spotting the massive dinosaur models (complete with sound effects). it really is quite atmospheric and the models were much bigger and better than i expected. its also quite educational with an info board at each dinosaur. theres also a maze like walk which is quite fun, crazy golf, the extintion zone where kids can search for bones etc, and a deer safari (which costs extra but only 1.50 for kids, 1.95 for adults) which was very intersting and great to see the deer so close. there was also an area with some animals etc. all in all a great day out, soo many of these parks can seem like theres not enough to do and too many things that cost extra, but this was a really good day out for all the family.

My Boys Were 5 & 8 We Did Have A Good Day At Dinos

My boys were 5 & 8 we did have a good day at Dinosaur Adventure Park, Lenwade Norfolk. I did the 3 for 2 offer, banham zoo, africa alive and got the dinosuar park free, so didnt mind paying for the deer safari and icecreams. i would suggest doing this if its on again this year. i work in a playgroup and we have never been, as there isnt an undercover picnic area and 90% of activities are outside, we have to book in advance and you cant pick the weather! plus if your taking lots of children you will need lots of adults as children can easily get lost! out side areas and toilets kept clean, deer safari staff really friendly especially the driver who let my boys sit in the cab for a photo.animals to handle in the farm area which my boys loved. sculptures are excellent.dino trail fun to do, like the sound effects. Bad points were: plastic dinosaurs need updating! its an expensive day out so take a picnic. 90% is outside so make sure you pick a nice day!not very good for wheel chairs or people that cant walk very far. there were loads of wasps!

I Have To Admit, If It Was Free It Would Be Right

I have to admit, if it was free it would be right up my street because some of the things such as crazy golf and go karting were very fun (even for me aged 43). However as it is I wouldn't recommend.

We Took A Load Of Kids To The Dinosaur Adventure P

We took a load of kids to the Dinosaur Adventure Park for a day out and by the end we were exhausted. There is a lot to see and do, as well as good eating facilities, they even had some good baby food heating facilities. The car park causes no concerns and it is a short walk to the park. I thought it was a little expensive but it can easily provide a whole day's entertainment for the children. The big plastic dinosaurs are nothing special but added to the landscape and the numerous pieces of playground equipment, there are lots of distractions other than the dinosaurs. An incentive to go right round the park is provided, in the form of a stamp trail. The children have to get a stamp at different locations, completed forms are exchanged for a gift at the end. I mistakenly thought that this is where some of my entrance money had gone but no, each child got an almost invisible pencil top. I will go back because it is one of the few big attractions around this area.

We Visited This Attraction For The First Time On S

We visited this attraction for the first time on Sunday, there was so much for my boys aged 6 and 4 to do - it was great. I must add everywhere was kept smart and tidy and the toilets were spotlessly clean. The eating venues were lovely and litter free. The main point for this review is in praise of the staff. Every member of staff there were so polite and friendly and went out of there way for you. I have not been anywhere before where we were treated as though we were known by them all. Well done.
