So We Had Passed This Place A Couple Of Times Whil
So we had passed this place a couple of times while crusing around the island and thought that it looked like a good spot to have lunch one day. So on our final we arrived with this very purpose in mind. We did not relise that there was an entrance fee of £7 and when we got to the counter we nearly bulked at the thought. However against our better judgement we went on in. Although I would not say it was a total mistake I do feel that £7 is just too much.
We did have some lucnh there which was reasonably priced and very tasty. Otherwise we were pretty dissapointed. Looking round the mill itself was moderately fun but besides that it seemed to me to be several large garages filled with old stuff (junk is a bit strong as it was relatively interesting to look at old cookers and fridges).
There was steam engines going for some event or other, and mini golf pitch and put thing and you could hire pedalos which, unbelieveably was not included in the cost! Plus you could only relly move them about 50m down the stream and then back.
Can't recommend this place as it was just too expensive for waht it was. £3 and maybe we'ed be talking, but £7! Never again.
