Wast Of Time And Petrol
after my vist to botany bay they named it right , as its a compleat rip off , second hand tat and the food is not fit for human consumption, the coffee in the coffee bar downstairs is over priced and horrable , they had gaffa tape here and there and noticed some of the windows along the staircase was ready to fall out , one push and it would be along side the Motoway. some of the staff was rude and unhelpfull and mainly very young not interested in there jobs , the lighting is cheep and horrable on the eyes , old strip lights that flicker and give you a migrain ,
as for some of the stalls i dont know how they pay there rent as i have seen better stuff on the boot sales , its a glorifyed jumble sale , come and look at out rubbish that someone has found in a skip , ill never return , wast of time .

Enjoyable Day Out
I went to Botany Bay years ago and hated it especially with having to pay to get in, said I would never go again. Went yesterday after over 10 years to find a totally different experience. I really enjoyed it. Bought some really nice things, free entry and free parking is a welcome bonus. food was not too bad and you get 10% off specials if you have a discount card which we purchased for £2 and received a free incense set so we got our money back immediately. Tool my 2 year old son with me and will definitely be going back. Would be nice if they could provide small trolleys though as it is hard to push a buggy and carry a basket for shopping.

Warehouse Full Of Junk And Poor Food
We visited Botany Bay on the 29th April 2012 as we'd wanted to go there for ages. Well I wished we'd have read the reviews first! The place is a shambles. The building is lovely but that's about the only positive thing that can be said about it. First off the car park is small and full of very large pot holes. It was raining the day we went and I had to step into a massive puddle to get out of the car. Once inside, I thought it was going to be really good as it looked nice inside, but essentially the place is full of tat! What annoyed me was that some stalls were selling stuff that was blatantly second hand, alongside new stuff, but there was no clear indication of this. We picked up a lovely jacket for our baby daughter, only to find it was a George at Asda coat, which had been used!
However, the biggest complaint has to be reserved for the restaurant (if you can call it that) on the 4th floor. I can honestly say I have never had such a horrible meal in all my life. I had a burger, which was basically a dry bun with a thin frozen burger placed in the middle...nothing else! The chips were cold and greasy and the meal took ages to arrive. Then they have the cheak to charge you £6.95 for it! I'd have gotten a better burger at a football match! My family's meals were poor as well...with cheap ingredients warmed up in a microwave. DO NOT EAT HERE!
I definitely won't be going back...ever....and can only say that the place has such potential but is understaffed and expensive. Whoever manages/owns this place wants shooting! The cafe downstairs isn't much better and was filthy as no one cleared up. Gives the north west a bad name...places like this.
Don't Visit The Restaurant!
We found Botany Bay an interesting place to browse for a couple of hours. Then we made the mistake of going to the restaurant on the top floor. We ordered a tuna sandwich and some tea. We were served with the tea and then waited 40 minutes for our sandwich to arrive. Other diners who had ordered before us were waiting for ages for their food too. Eventually my husband went to ask where our sandwich was, the waitress went to check then she came to our table and said it had already been sent out! When we said we hadn't had it the waitress looked at our tea tray as if she was looking for the empty plate! We went to the till to get a refund and waited ages for the manager to come out to give us our money (there was still a lot of confusion on her part as to where our sandwich went - in fact we were made to feel like it was our fault!) She told us they had been very busy as if that excused the bad service we got. I would add that the staff seemed to be doing their best and were very hard working but they obviously needed to be managed better.

Waste Of Time!!!!!
food cold and pricey staff very rude with no manners what so ever the place it's self was like going to a car boot full of people's old junk. Took my daughter into puddle town disgusting very very dirty old fassion thoughts before I went were maybe puddle town will be ideal for my daughters 4th birthday. No chane now after seeing the state of it i will not be visiting again!!!!
Ignorant Staff.
I entered Botany Bay at 9.30am, and went to the furniture floor to purchase a table which I had seen the day before. The staff at the till where very rude and told me the shop wasn't open till 10am, and that they would not serve me(obviously didn't want my £130 cash).
When I went to leave I asked the security guard who was on the door, why let members of the public in when it is still shut? His answer was he hadn't seen me come in!!!
An utter shambles and a waste of my time and petrol going there. Pity though, as it was a gorgeous table.
Would definitely not go there again, and the staff need to be replaced.

Could Be A Great Place To Shop, But It Isn't. It I
Could be a great place to shop, but it isn't. It is generally a load of tat and rubbish. They have the space to make it spectacular. There just isn't a 'wow' in the whole building. I would never go back.
This review is totally unfounded. There are a vast array of quality items at Botany Bay and there really is something for everyone. Ok, some areas may not have the 'wow' factor and not be to everyone's taste but I would definitely recommend people to visit and see for themselves.

ive been to Botany Bay on a couple of occasions and i am truly impressed.
i am just starting to sell antiques and collectables, and i am in the process of renting a stall. i have had to wait because every stall is taken.
people who leave reviews saying that it is empty, ARE WRONG.
IT DOES NOT COST A PENNT TO GET IN
I will leave another review in a couple of months when i have been trading there
