Chester, Chester Racecourse

Even if you're not a gambling fan, Chester Races are a great day out for atmosphere and enjoyment.

Visit Chester races most years. Usually stay over so we make a weekend of it. We always get tickets for the county stand which mean we get dressed up in our suits and the ladies with their posh frocks and hats. We always have a great day. Last year was the best even though we hardly won a thing. Usually end up at least break even. Small number of horses entered in the races so the odds are pretty poor, but you don't go to Chester for the quality of horse races. The course is excellent and it is well organised and it is nice to go in the county stand as you feel posh for the day.
