Blackpool Tower

Took my 8 year old son to Jungle Jims because it looks absolutely fantastic on the website. The staff took my £6.50 and off my son went. Just by chance i thought I had better check how long he got and after a very nice conversation with one of the staff I discovered that the sessions were 1 hour long and during a specific time slot which meant that he would have to come off in 15 minutes making a total of 20 mins soft play. As you can imagine, not happy! The manager on site was lovely and suggested that we would still have to leave but would be able to come back in with the next group, if there was space. I mentioned this to my son who didn't want to go back on because he didn't like it. Please, please don't be fooled by the lovely pictures, this is just a basic soft play with a pretty facade. £6.50 for an hour is extortionate, £6.50 for 20 minutes is just scandalous. Blackpool has a lot to learn from the soft play in the North East - its supposed to be about the children, not the money!

Mookys round the World.Absolutly no mention of any such thing.Kept waiting for ages in a small space,no air and the heat was terrible both waiting and in the Circus itself.

The show itself was Rubbish,nothing as advertised.My grandchildren love Mooky and we have been back every year but this is the last.Hes not funny any more and its sad, the same old same old,we saw part of this act 4yrs ago.

The Tower itself looks no different but after all the money they spent,a bit of air conditioning would have at least made it bearable!!

Blackpool is not a family resort any more it belongs to stag and hen dos

and that in itself is very sad.

Went to the tower yesterday, can't believe how much it has changed. And not for the better. We only went to the top of the tower. The 4d cinema was very good, but needs to be slightly longer. I thought we would spend a couple of hours there but in total, we were there for about an hour. For the price it is a complete rip off!

A lot of the place was boarded off so that you cannot access these areas without paying. It just looked an eye sore. Even the outside of the tower was boarded up. Not sure if this is a temporary thing but it looked so tacky!

I wouldn't visit again. The tower used to be so good and you could spend a full day there. To do that now you'd need to spend a fortune!

I see they've also filled up space with expensive arcades and boring crazy golf! No thanks.

Purchased a combi ticket x 7 for my daughters birthday. This gave us access to jungle jims, the circus and the tower ballroom. Unfortunately the circus was not on.....it's was literally the only day it wasn't on as they cancelled it to get ready for the Christmas production. The tower ballroom was closed for a private function and we were only allocated an hour in jungle jims. I had these children for 4 hours, but at least we could go up the tower and kill some time up there...... Actually no, we couldn't. My COMBI ticket toBLACKPOOL TOWER did not allow us access up the tower. And If I wanted to take the children up I would have to pay an extra£75 on top of what I had already paid! It is a huge rip off, in the play area bottles of water were just short of £2 and there were "cheap" drinks on offer. Had I known I would have just paid the children to play in jungle jims as I'm sure it would have worked out much cheaper. I live in Blackpool and the attraction is not as good as it used to be. Ok so it's always been a little expensive but before you could just purchase one ticket and access all areas, now you have to pay for each area which is very confusing and very expensive. When I asked what their complaints policy was , the girl behind the check out didn't have a clue. She said that she isn't allowed to give out email addresses or telephone numbers. I explained how I didn't want anybody's personal details just to be able to get in contact with customer services to complain, still she said she couldn't give out any details.

I feel I have been mislead, ripped off and 6 very unhappy little girls, my daughter actually cried and said how excited she had been.

What once used to be a good attraction is now a very disappointing "hour" out.

We took our 7year old daughter to this and were not expecting much. How wrong we were. The acrobats were breathtaking and Mooky the clown was hilarious. Fantastic show. Would have gone back for e second visit if we had been staying longer. Would highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed,

I think on pasted trips to the tower I could say it was a great family value for money day out.BUT! Now on my vistit to the tower this wewekend justed gone 15/9/12 I found it to be no longer the case. It was a total rip off.I think the new management team have made a hash of the place there's no aqarium no diosaur ride plus no bar witch u cud get a a beer and chill out in. I don't like the idear of paying for all atractions individualy cost a fortune my kids were realy upset when I had to tell them that I cudnt afford to pay for us to go up the tower aswell as the circus because it was just way to much money to do all the things we used to enjoy doing on are past vistes.BLACKPOOL TOWER. Needs a rethink on priceing

I am from Manchester and I always visit Blackpool Tower whenever I go there. Its a nice place to visit

After 20 years away from Blackpool we decided to relive our past and stay last week. My word, what a disappointment.....Scaffolding around the tower, expensive for a family visit as is zoo, swimming, stanley park tearooms..(with security on the toilets..lol), totally obnoxious monkeys...sorry staff at every venue who are trained to extract every penny from your wallet or just blank you if your not spending. Tell me...if the Tower is rubbish, the old trams are gone, the pleasure beach is a no go area unless you pay, the piers are rubbish, the entertainment is shabby ..if you can find some,..what IS good about Blackpool.....and don`t say the new prom....the spoons are hideous... well?

What rubbish! 4D eye out dated and top of tower only a few meters of see through flooring.

Complete rip off.Cynical pricing and more interested in parting you from more of your cash than giving value for money you've already paid.

Cheap and tacky .Tower split into different sections, each with an unrealistic price,

1 1/2hours waiting around. £14 to go up the tower. They are having a laugh, a further £7 to enter the ballroom and more still for a circus devoid of animals.

Loads of people disgruntled, feeling they had been ripped off.

Fair enough building work was on but for £39 for 1 adult 2 children you would expect more than just the circus and Jungle Jims, In the end I asked for my money back(Nothing to do for 3 hrs until the circus came on) No Tower,No aquarium,No Dino adventure,rude staff. Not impressed.
