Ledbury, Eastnor Castle

We visited Eastnor Castle in the spring of 2011. The countryside down here is beautiful and castle and grounds are lovely to wander around. I particularly liked the lake and the views back towards the castle. I'm not a great photographer but could see how easy it must be for professionals to have a great day out taking pictures.

Eastnor Castle is a 19th Century fairy tale castle with deer park, caravan access and beautiful walks. Also the Big Chill music festival in August each year.The Castle also hosts shows and activity days for both adults and children. About 2 1/2 hrs from Central London. Lovely family day out, quiet and tranquil. Not quite the excitement of Alton Towers.
