We Are A Family Of 5 With 2 Adults And 2 Tee

We are a family of 5 with 2 adults and 2 teenage boys visiting from the uk. This attraction was expensive and set on a huge plot so you get a bus to different scaffold towers to see other scaffold towers on the horizon. The last hanger with the rocket was impressive due to it's size but we were rather bored overall.

If You Are In The Orlando Area The John F. Kennedy

If you are in the Orlando area the John F. Kennedy Space Center is a " must see" I'd say. As well as the tour of the launch sites and a museum of old rockets there is an Imax theatre with 3D effects from the Moon's surface and a shuttle launch ride. The best bit though in my view is the Saturn 5 section when they simulate an Apollo launch and then you can see the awesome size of the old moon rockets.

Managed To Get A Trip To Watch Launch At Kennedy S

Managed to get a trip to watch launch at Kennedy Space Center from viewing area 5 miles from launch pad. Bussed down in NASA buses from rocket park. One of th emost memorable events in my life. If you can (and if they restart), make sure you try to watch a launch. You will never, never forget it - stunning.

We Visited Kennedy Space Center As Part Of Our Fam

We visited Kennedy Space Center as part of our family trip to Disney (Feb 2004). It costs us $135 for a family of 4 which afterwards we realised was not worth the money. We went off peak and still had to queue 20 minutes to board the buses that take you out to the 2 visitor centers. There is a lot to see and it's amazing to think the shuttle you see was actually in space. It's also great to get the opportunity to touch moon rock. But on the other hand it's like wandering around a museum. Unless your prepare to spend the time reading the small print it can get a bit of a drag. My two children (6 & 7) found the day a bit of a yawn!
