Your better off doing some really internet advertising!

EKM works fine for a Mailing service, though the editor could do with some work.

The mailing list management is good and unsubscribes are kept on file so we never accidentally mail them again.

Support from EKM is good also. We have had a few problems in the past and have emailed support, whom have been fairly quick in getting back to us with a solution.

Though stating these good points seems quite daft when I'm paying near on £200 a month. I would expect more for the money.

EKMresponse has had a very positive impact on sales. The growth has been noteworthy month on month since we started the marketing campaigns and the system is very easy to use (even for someone who isn't the most computer literate like myself). The templates make it easy and quick to get started and you can simply enter your own content and links and you're away!

I would certainly recommend this to anyone who uses EKM Powershop. The cost of the service is minimal and a worthy addition to anyone who is serious about developing an ecommerce store. If your experience is anything like ours you will likely find the additional cost is covered from the initial campaign due to the increased return. It's false economy NOT to use this!

The 'Powershop' has also continued to offer more and more each year as they continue to develop the software.

In fact I do not want our competitors to even find out about them.

When I set out to start my web site, EKM were the first one I came across. I wasn't too sure about the choice of templates but used their free test design tool (which to my amazement you can use without even registering / giving and email address or anything at all!)

I have to admit that I signed up with a couple of other companies to try their free first month trial and ended up coming back to EKM.

Firstly because they provide a complete package for an on line shop. Other providers seduce you with sub £10 prices but once you want a shopping basket / cart the price hikes way up. I found that there were also a lot of other add-ons. With EKM there are no add-ons, you just get everything you need to start a shop including access to the HTML (which you have to pay with, with other suppliers) so you can adapt the templates and make them your own. Aside from this, EKM was by far the easiest to use.

Secondly because I emailed them a question and within about an hour, no I didn't get an email back - my phone rang! I was shocked to get such good service in this day and age and you may think that this was because I hadn't yet signed up but in the 4 months I have been using them, they have continued to show such good response times sometimes via email and sometimes via phone. EKM are by far the best company I have ever dealt with.

EKM continue to add new templates every month and I have personally given them some suggestions and they are very responsive and look at them positively. There is also an excellent community page / forum and here again, people are extremely helpful.

The choice for me was a no brainer.

EKM also do provide some separate software called EKM Response. This is marketing package that allows you to create templates and store mailing lists of your customers. It is a very easy to use package and allows global tracking of mails sent and opened etc. This is separate from the web but well integrated and there are a variety of packages available starting with a free one :)

I signed up for the free ekmReponse package which allows me to enable clients to sign up from our website. The free package allows 100 free clients newsletters to be sent and thereafter there are various packages available depending on your requirements. For now the free package suites me. I have used this system before and found it really easy to use and easy for clients to sign up to our newsletters.

I would recommend this to all internet shops as an effective and time saving too to communicate with clients.

Support was fast and efficient when I required it.
