Do not trust this company!

I originally chose to sell my White MacBook to 'Mac 4 Cash' because they were offering £70 more than any other company that I had received a quote from both online and in person, 'Mac 4 Cash' offered me £177 for my MacBook (Grade C) and allowed me to select a collection date.
My Mac was collected by an external company, the collection process was simple and easy, pop your Mac into the box provided by the external company, seal the box and sign the documentation provided.
My Mac was delivered to 'Mac 4 Cash' on 30/10/2013 and was sent straight into testing. By 07/11/2013 the testing had finished and I'd received an 'Updated Quote' of £25, that's a reduction of £152.00!!
This came to quite a shock so I emailed 'Mac 4 Cash' and asked them to explain the extortionate decline in offer. Later that day I received a phone call from an advisor at 'Mac 4 Cash'who told me that my offer had been reduced by £152 due to scratches on the screen (I agreed this was a valid point), that my DVD/CD drive was completely dead, which was a little odd as the day before it was collected I backed up all my data, music and pictures from my MacBook onto CD's, he then went on to explain that my Keyboard wasn't a UK keyboard which again I found extremely odd as Apple UK had replaced my keyboard themselves two years before.
I suggested to him that the Mac was sent back to me so I could sell it onto another company and check out the 'damages', as soon as I told him that I wanted my Mac back to inspect the damages myself he immediately told me that there was a fee to pay £35 to get MY mac back.
I strongly believe that this company have either damaged my Macbook in order to reduce the original offer and made me look like a liar OR have lied to me about the damages to reduce the price to a price that suits them and would allow them to make a large profit!

I recommend that anyone who wants to sell their old Mac for a bit of extra cash DOES NOT use this company and uses a more reliable and helpful company!
