We Bought A Samsung Ps42e7hd As Our 42inch Grundig
We bought a Samsung PS42E7HD as our 42inch Grundig Plasma tv packed up in just 6 months. Initially we were quite happy with it, until it started getting blue patches on the screen. These patches would come and go depending on the timing that it had been switched on for. Now it has just started switching itself on and off in intervals of about 4 minutes. We have only had this Samsung for 1 year and 5 months. We have researched common problems on the internet and this switching on and off seems to be one of them. Could be related to the main board needing replacement. My Pacific 32 inch TV, bought 6 years ago is still running with no problems. Plasmas seem to just suffer from more problems! My opinion, take out a very long insurance on this TV otherwise the repairs itself could be costing you more than the TV itself.
