Sound Is Still Good On This Lg Plasma Purchased Oc
Sound is still good on this LG plasma purchased Oct of 2006, but the picture went out and my extended warranty is about 6 months expired so I am in the market for a new tv other than LG brand. Sounds like this is a common defect with cheap electronic boards. Posts say 3 boards need to be replace at about $600 cost. You can buy a new Panasonic 720 dpi plasma for that. LG says that happens with home electronics and no help. Any company that won't stand behind their product will not get my business. When my cell contract is up, the LG phone I am using will get replaced with another brand. Stay away from LG tv's.

The Lg Plasma Tv Model 42pc3d-ud I Bought From Bes
The LG plasma TV model 42PC3D-UD I bought from BestBuy back in 2006 was good. However, they price of the TV was high when I bought it. The reason I bought LG is because I have kids and the old TV is broken. I had the old TV for 8 years and had no problems with it and the price is decent only cost me $375 dollars. Now my new LG TV is not working after 3 years and 8 months. The LG TV just black out, show blur pictures, making buzzing noises. I should have thought about it before I bought it, and I should have bought the same brand of TV I had before the LG. My old TV is a Sony brand, I think Sony TV are much better and worth paying for than the LG. I purchased the extent warranty on the LG, but when the technician came to look at the TV, it was a week later and my kids have no TV to watch. After the technician checking on the TV, he said there are some Y or Z boards or some sorts need to order it and will take at least 2 weeks. He also mentioned that he is not guarantee how long. I paid about $500 for the extent warranty, and is cost more than my old TV I purchased when is brand new right out from the store. And now the same LG TV cost about $500 dollars, I could have save my money rather than purchased the extent and could buy me a brand new TV. I guess I have learned some mistakes, and hopefully not to buy anymore LG TV. I also informed my family not to look for LG TV brand either if they looking to buy new TV's.

Lg's Customer Service Is Worthless Especially When
LG's customer service is worthless especially when the TV is out of warranty. I was told by a supervisor that I should have purchased a extended warranty. LG had a two year warranty on this product. Would anyone think that the tv would need service in less than three years. When I asked where I could write a letter of complaint, I was told since it was out of warranty they would not accept any complaint letters. NEVER NEVER NEVER PURCHASE FROM LG. They do not care about their customers or their products.
"I was told since it was out of warranty they would not accept any complaint letters"
That's rich, lmao! Gunna hafta remember that one.
