Toshiba Regza 42XV555DB

This toshiba regza TV was an incredible value for my money. I love the picture, and the sound is great except when there's a lot of low frequencies the TV vibrates (however, I will be installing a 5.1 system which will eliminate this problem). One small annoyance is that the TV takes a bit to start up after pressing the remote power button. It has a complete power off button hidden on the left side as well which I don't use because if you do the remote doesn't work, but it really threw me off when I tried to use the TV for the first time as I thought it was broken.

The Toshiba Regza is a great looking set. Much more compact than my old 42" LCD

For a cinema effect its great, large and detailed,and sounds clear and crisp. For watching Coronation Street, Eastenders etc (which i don't care much for) the pixelating is irritating. For watching nature/wildlife programs fantastic. Sports is good too although football viewing is quite poor. however I'm told all this will vastly improve with hdmi connections. If you are a movie person great! but if you just want a t.v. for normal everyday programs I would recommend slightly smaller maybe 37" or 32".

Toshiba Regza 42XV555DB an ideal tv that can run your x / playstation off also with the facility to connect and run your computer, but best of all it is a great tv, advanced technology, ease of use value for money complete package.

Havn't been able to sus out the locking of a chosen type of viewing mode, auto change between programs.

looks good. In the shops they tend to set the tv's up that give them the smallest profit with a poorer reception. This tv has a great picture and the tv itself looks stylish too!!!

I've only recently bought my Toshiba 42xv555db, and already I love it! Huge high quality screen, easy to set up and use, stylish and works well with my Xbox 360.This LCD TV is a must buy for anyone who likes quality, style and value rolled into one!
