One of the Sony Bravia range of LCD TVs. Available in 40, 32, 26 & 23 inch versions.
Bought as a replacement for an aging JVC 24"CRT TV.
The 26" screen has a 14:9 ratio that gives a 1366 x 768 resolution.
Comes with a built in FreeView DVB receiver and has 7 inputs/outputs in addition to the RF input.
(1) 2 Scart sockets, number 2 being a "SmartLink" for connecting a compatible recorder [HDD, DVD, VCR].
(2) Component signal sockets
(3) Hi-Fi connection
(4) PC input
(5) S Video
(6) HDMI
(7) RF output to recorder from digital receiver.
Also has a CAM slot for Pay Per View card.
Set up is easy using the auto set up facility.
Four sound settings enable the user to select the best sound.
Picture quality is outstanding and the viewing angles mean that there is no loss of picture quality from anywhere in my room.
Unable to find any figures as to refresh rate. Have noticed on occasions that there is some blurriness/pixelling with very fast motion. Not enough to worry about though.
My opinion is that this TV lives up to the sort of quality product one expects from Sony.
