Sony Bravia KDL-46EX503U

Replaced a 40 inch KDL-40V Bravia TV. The KDL-46EX503U television has better contrast so black appears black. The colours are very true although the default settings were a little too bright. The sound is good although quiet but we have a surround system attached so this is not a problem. I don't like the fact that it cannot be switched off even though standby is supposed to use very little power. There is a second on/off switch on the back of the remote (why? only need the one). The contols are also on the side of the TV rather than the top. The tv is wireless ready but you have to buy a dongle to use it. The 4 HDMI ports are useful. Can also be used as a digital photo frame if you are so inclined. I am pleased with my purchase, especially with the Sony get the VAT back campaign.
