Brilliant Picture Quality Especially From The Ps3,
Brilliant picture quality especially from the PS3, no screen door effect, excellent sound quality with virtual Dolby, looks impressive.
I would recommend this TV mostly because it is 50 inches and it only cost me £450 as it was a bargain on ebay. I've had it for a year and the bulb is still going strong.

This Sony Bravia Kdfe50a12u Is Great Value For Mon
This Sony Bravia KDFE50A12U is great value for money. Glad I opted for this model. It is the envy of everyone who sees the TV, especially those who paid nearly as much for a smaller standard LCD. The sony Bravia engine is still the best picture producer in my opinion.
I have had this TV now for 2 years without any problems and my son plays his PS3 every day although that has caused a slight screen burn at the top, but not noticeable 90% of the time.

I Think Sony Bravia Are Decent Tvs For The Money ,
I think Sony Bravia are decent tvs for the money ,I am a bit niffed about the HD connection sockets not working but that could be down to the fact that my teenage son does not pull the connection leads out properly.

The Repair Guy Has Now Had Our Sony Bravia Kdfe50a
The repair guy has now had our Sony Bravia KDFE50A12U for 5 weeks and Sony are asking a lot of questions about the age and where it was bought and taking forever to send the parts.

This Would Be A Great Product If It Was Compatible
This would be a great product if it was compatible to games console, but it is not and the customers are having to foot the bill for Sonys error.

When You Take Into Account The Screen Size, Connec
When you take into account the screen size, connectivity, built in Freeview and picture quality this 50 inch Sony KDFE50A12U HD ready television is a real winner. We purchased the TV for the bargain price of £1050 and couldn't be happier - when we started looking for a TV connectivity was at the top of our list and this came out as the clear winner - Scart, Component Video, S-Video, VGA and HDMI (I'm also pretty sure there are more).
The picture quality is very impressive when given the right inputs but does show up the poor quality of some signals - graphics on Sky Digital can look a bit blocky but DVDs and Games consoles are fantastic. We found that hooking up a computer (with the VGA) and using its DVD drive produced the best picture quality by far - this produces amazing results and Helms Deep in LOTR2 is breathtaking.
The sound quality of the TV is also great - we don't have any external speakers set up but I feel the sound produced from the TV is more than good enough. Freeview is a nice edition to the television and the included remote control is well laid out and easy to use. Another positive that came from buying this television was the included stand - these can sell for upwards of £250 on their own which is another thing to take into account when comparing this television against other models. The actual unit itself is quite large and heavy but it is 50 inch - the unit juts out by 10 inches behind the screen so it is probably best to position it in an alcove at a slight angle - we have ours in the corner of the room next to the chimney breast and although it is massive it doesn't look obtrusive in the room.
We currently have the computer with Internet, VCR, SKY Digital, a Playstation 2 and Nintendo Gamecube all hooked up and there is still space for a new HD games console via the HDMI port. To sum up, I am really pleased with this television and I would definitely purchase it again - the prices have now also dropped to below £1000 - I saw £865 in one store so shop around - you wont be disappointed.
