Review After 3 Years Use
Never really comfortable with this TV set. We bought a 32" Tecknika at the same time and the Technika outperforms the more expensive Samsung. The receptor for the remote control has just packed in and although it may seem a minor fault it's a major irritation. We've tried different remotes and been through all menus searching for a fix. The only solution is Samsung's direction to a local repairer for an expensive repair, or a new TV.
Guess it going to be a new non-Samsung TV.
As far as I can remember we've only ever had 4 Samsung items and all have suffered a shortish lifespan.
We had this TV and the remote receiver also broke on ours after about 2 years. We bought a Samsung PVR and feed the signal to the TV. Setup works fine now (would have been better if the TV hadn't had the problem tho).
