I Had This Tv For A Number Of Years Before Replaci

I had this TV for a number of years before replacing with a lovely Philips 42PFL9664.

Compared to the Philips this TV is dreadful!

If you're watching a programme that is set in half light or at night then you pretty much can't see a thing that's going on as the contrast ratio is pretty dire. Although its sold as HD Ready it doesnt have an HDMI output, so dont expect anything particularly spectacular with HD channels/content.

The bezel is massive with the speakers on the side (the new 42" TV we have doesnt take up that much more space than this TV, as the new TV has a tiny bezel).

I bought the TV as an impulse buy without thoroughly reading reviews and I regreted it for years!

I'm very, very glad to now have the 42PFL9664 and relegate this TV to the attic.

The difference to my viewing experience is dramatic.
