Just Bought My Television From Best Buy This Past

Just bought my television from Best Buy this past black friday 2007 and had it up and running that day.

I must say that the price point is what got me for this 1080p LCD television. The picture is great and clarity is amazing, but anyone that goes directly from analog to High Def would say that.

When you have a television that gives you such clarity, you MUST get the high def service. Mine is through Direct TV and I am unimpressed, but that is my next review.

The remote control is plainly laid out and easy to use, but the advanced user menu offers little flexibility ie: speaker functions, balance and picture tuning.

Perhaps this is standard for this type of television? I just don't know.

I have only owned this television for a few months but did purchase the in home extended service plan (it paid for half of this tele from the last Sony Wega that we purchased from Best Buy, and returned)

Plasma tv's offer much more brilliance and a faster screen rate, but that is for tv geeks.

I'm supremely happy with the bright colors and performance of this set so far.
