I Was Happy With The Lg 32pg6000 Tv For The First

I was happy with the LG 32PG6000 tv for the first 3 weeks, until screen burn and a stuck pixel appeared.

I Have Only Just Got This Set So These Are Just My

I have only just got this set so these are just my first impressions. I wanted a reasonably-priced 32" set (viewing from around 11ft) and decided to go for a plasma screen as the picture quality is more lifelike than a typical mid-price LCD screen. The plasma screen is protected by a sheet of glass, unlike a lot of LCD screens, so they are a bit more resistant to accidental damage. There is only this 32" plasma TV available at present - the LG 32PG6000. The good picture quality of the plasma screen used to be offset by the high power consumption, but having done a bit of reading, the max power figure given may be nothing like the average required in use. For example, with a bright white picture, the power used can be as high as 240W, but whilst watching the recent F1 Grand Prix, the power used was around 130W. On a darkish film it drops well below 100W. The stand-by power is 0.8W. If you like tinkering with the picture or sound, there is plenty of scope using the menu! If you don't, you don't need to as there are standard set-ups for different types of program at the click of a button. The feature list on this set is quite stunning - although it is HD ready, just about the only thing missing is the Full-HD display, which is not possible on 32" plasma (and apparently not really necessary either). I tried to buy the LG from RicherSounds, because of their service and warranty, but they had sold out countrywide! Tesco Direct had them in stock for £400 + £5 delivery and delivered in 2 days and on time, but their 5 year warranty price is far too high at £250!! Compare that with RicherSounds 5 year warranty at 10% of the purchase price - see what I mean? The screen has an expected life of 30 years at 4 hours per day, so it should see me out! I'll take the one year manufacturer's warranty and hope that any problems show up in the first year!

The Lg 32pg6000 Has Excellent Picture Quality And

The LG 32PG6000 has excellent picture quality and sound, frameless design, massive range of adjustments to colours and black level, also has preset settings for game, sport and cinema for optimum picture and sound levels. built in usb port enables you to watch a slide show of your photos. simple to use remote control. excellent value for the money and the picture quality of this plasma tv is better than any lcd that i have seen. the only bad point I have found is that mine suffers from screen burn if left on one tv logo for too long, but this is only visible on a black screen.
