We've Had Ours For Close To 10 Years Now!! It Has

We've had ours for close to 10 years now!! It has been a fantastic TV over that time but our recent move to BD means we need full HD now :(

AS far as TV's go this thing will probably go performing for another 10 years with exceptional standard, well worth the premium we paid at the time. It has been a constant work horse (especially with two kids) and still performs brilliantly.

Thank you SONY.

I Have Had My Kv32fq75u For Over Five Years Now Wi

I have had my KV32FQ75u for over five years now with no problems unlike some. I found the 100hz wide screen excellent quality only to be let down by the sound (need a separate hi-fi).

The remote is simple & easy to use with all the functions you are likely to be using.

I Have Only Ever Bought Panasonic Before This And

I have only ever bought Panasonic before this and have never had any problems. My old Panasonic set is still working fine and it's nine years old. The reason I went for a Sony other than it's looks was the reputation it had for excellence. I for one will never consider buying a Sony product again having witnessed what they accept as minor problems.

Sony Kv-32fq75(s) - Sony, Who Came To My Rescue Af

Sony KV-32FQ75(S) - Sony, who came to my rescue after all the preceding events, were wonderful, if slightly ineffectual. The faulty tube not only had the afforementioned scratch but also an arc-shaped black circle in the centre of it. The shop it was from refused to accept any responsibility before going belly-up within 1 year so I moaned to our local Sony dealership and to my rescue came a very nice Sony person who agreed to replace the tube. But the new one is also faulty and has on the left handside of the tube a bluriness which makes reading titles or Sky menus virtually impossible. However now, 2 years on, Sony are replacing my set with a brand new spanking uptodate kv32fq86( happy days and touch wood I will have no further problems). But Sony have been wonderful to deal with, and although I would not recommend the TV in question, I would have no problem recommending Sony.

I Have Not Had The Set Long And Despite Having Rea

I have not had the set long and despite having read all the bad reviews I still went ahead and bought one. So far I have not been disappointed. The set just had all of the features I wanted and then some. It was a very good price especially now that they are end of line.

All manufacturers and I guess all sets have some problems, it just seems that the KV32-FQ75 has more than most. (If you do get a bad one, you can always send it back under warranty). However, if you do get a really good one, than it is just that. An excellent TV with loads and loads of features. Not to mention, it looks absolutely beautiful sitting there in your lounge.

Sony have made a huge boo boo with this television, they know of the problems with the focusing on the left hand side of the screen but still carried on selling them until they brought the new models out with the (MORE IMPROVED DRC)IF YOU CONTACT A SONY DEALER THEY CAN ALTER THE SCREEN TO BE A BIT MORE SHARPER ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE BUT LOOSING IT A BIT ON THE RIGHT THEY CAN EQUAL THINGS UP

Lets Get One Thing Straight - The (s) And (u) Suff

Lets get one thing straight - The (S) and (U) suffix means nothing more than is a stand supplied or not - the nice man from Sony UK told me that.

I bought this TV after reading the reviews - some good, some not so good.

Buying this TV online for a grand seemed a bargain though, so I did.

Lo and behold, the TV I got had the banding problem that others have described.

However, Sony have been excellent in their customer service - call them rather than your retailer is what I found to be better.

Also, by using both Scarts on Sky Digital, one for video, one direct to TV, the banding has gone from mt Sky completely. Its only on DVD that this is noticable.

Don't be put off this telly - it can be an absolute winner.

Just a quick comment to say that my set is a 'U' suffix model which I only found out when it was delivered. It was bought from John Lewis and came with the matching self-assembly 'art couture' glass shelf stand at no extra cost without any prior discussion with the salesman about whether I wanted a stand or not.

The Television is a good design externally but that's about it.

The purple patch is caused by the magnetic fields from whatever you have placed on the glass shelves...

You cannot use the shelves for what they were intend or you will constantly get this problem...
