The Bose Lifestyle 18 Uses The Single Cube Speaker
The Bose Lifestyle 18 uses the single cube speakers which although good are easily outclassed by the next model up which uses the dual cubes. One cube is used to direct sound at you while the other points in a different direction to bounce sound off walls.
I'd recommend going for the Bose Lifestyle 28 (or higher) instead.
