The Tvonics Dvr-fp150 Is Nice Easy To Use Modern -
The Tvonics DVR-FP150 is nice easy to use modern - no hassle version of the now defunct video recorder. Lots of space available to record freeview programmes - tv or radio that are then listed in a nice orderly fashion with all the information taken from the original electronic programme guide, time, date, etc and whether you have watched it or not? You can lock the programme to prevent accidentally recording over. Tvonics manual informs user that the item currently does not support "series" link recording but will do so just as soon as the industry agrees a standard? So an automatic update will be sent through the airwaves! Picture quality is good, not as good as the Sony digital tv I have it plugged into but for a non "digital tv" buyer this will certainly impress. I do have issues with the tuner quality however. I can sometimes switch it on only to find a blank screen? The epg picks up but no sound and no picture? change channel and go back again and "no problem"?? I have twiddled with the connections (yes it is connected as instructed) but this stills happens, and happened when trying to record was really frustrating and nearly sent it back!! I think the problem could lie with the tuner as my Sony tv shows full strength but the tvonics less than half? My aerial was upgraded during the "itv" era so it's not that. I am monitoring the situation as I don't think this is normal.Apart from that everything is fine. But why the need to pause-rewind live tv? Waste of time.
In answer to your question, "Why rewind live TV" then surely the answer is to see something again, like a fantastic goal or or didn't catch the ingredient for a recipe. Or maybe just pause the program, perhaps the phone rang or someone called or I think you can pause the beginning of the program and then play and during the play fast forward through the boring advertisements. I hope I have understood your question correctly.
