The Panasonic Dmr-ex77 Can Use G Code, And Has Its

The Panasonic DMR-EX77 can use G code, and has its own TV guide. Can trim, rename, sort and store titles on DVD. HDD's are more reliable than DVD recorders. You should never use a DVD recorder on its own without a Hard Drive. Good Quality Digital Pictures. (trimming means when you start recording 10 minutes of TV before the program starts, this 10 minutes is easily removed, and also commercials can be cut outsorting means collecting like titles together.)

Digital Broadcasts are not always clear enough. It seems to have some difficulty with SONY disks, that it didn't have before. It doesn't seem to have a zoom function, well I couldn't find it. Doesn't save files to disk with 5 minute chapters, but in one chapter, possibly 2 or 3 hours long. This makes it difficult to use with skip functions.

HDD / DVD / Digital Tuner combos are the way to go, especially with a card reader which is good for the future. It would really need multiple tuners and a zoom function, and a list of compatible disks. I hope the price drops a lot more.
