Goodmans GDB12

simple step by step instructions makes it easy to install. it takes you through everything in the simplest way possible. it couldnt be easier to install.

the menu is really easy to use with as its a list of channels, pick which you want to watch and press ok. it couldnt be easier. the features have been rated 3 stars as it has everything it needs. it cant record or pause live tv or anything fancy like that, but for this price you wouldnt expect it to. the basic features does help make it a simple to use freeview box.

although it may be a little expensive compared to some other brands, i am happy to pay a little extra for a goodmans. i've had goodmans products before and i find them to be very reliable and i never seem to have any trouble with them.

i think this would be a great freeview box to use for anyone, and if you're not good with technology then this is the box to buy.

I've previously had a Goodmans set top box for over 2 years it finally died on me and I couldn't find the previous model so I went and bought this newer vsn GOODMANS GDB12. I wasn't sure about some the functions but the channels tuned in quite quickly. But during the course of the afternoon I started losing channels, I put it down to bad weather. However this is the 2 week and I keep having to retune and I'm losing more and more channels soemtimes I only have BBC1. It's gotten frustrating as i'm now conveinced that this is an inferior product. I don't have an outside aerial and my previous box Goodmans Gdb15Hd functioned fine I received most of the channels save Channel 5 but Virgin 1 more than made up for it. Also I'm sure no where on the outside of the box is the disclaimer that it is not recomended for indoor ariels but inside the box in the instruction manual bold as brass there is it 'Not recommended'. I'm taking it back. It's a shame because the EPG is quite good. I will double check this but I definately don't like this product.
