RCA DRC212N

i also reciently purchased an RCA DVD player model DRC212NA, and disocvered that it was perfectly capable of playing CD+G karaoke discs, but the screensaver pops on covers it after a few seconds of perfect play, and hitting a button on the remote will clear it momentarily, but would like any info anyone has on how to disable the screensaver so i can play karaoke CD+G discs. a simple schematic or info on what ic and pin the screensaver comes from would do. I could simply lift the pin and insert a switch if i wanted the screensaver for other applications. also if anyone knows a source of good players that will play both VCD, and CD+G discs and possibly has mic inputs it would be appreciated. walmart reciently started marketing a virtually useless "karaoke disc player with mic inputs, but it doesnt play CD+G (the most popular karaoke format). what were they thinking?

I have purchased RCA DRC212N based on region 1. But, i have so many other region discs. So, could anyone please help me in making the region free.

RCA DRC-212: It plays movie DVD's and CD's with Audio or MP3 files very well, but that's it. I tried out different (home) videos with various codecs, AVI and MPEG, but without luck.

Any suggestion what program(s) to use to make this work? I have Pinnacle Studio 7 SE and am using Roxio 5.0 to burn the files onto the CD/DVD.

drc212n dvd multi region hack

I have just purchased a drc212 RCA dvd, I I want to play multiregional disks, should I take it back to the store, or is there a hack for multiregional, please help.
