I Got The Polaroid Pdv-0801a Portable Dvd Player A
I got the Polaroid PDV-0801A portable DVD player as a gift, and in a month the sound cracked. I got it replaced, but then after the 90 day period was up, the replacement now does not spin discs. I am very careful with it and it has never been dropped. I would never buy another Polaroid product again.

I purchased a Polaroid PDV-0801A for my son on his birthday, It didn't play so took it back and got another one it played about a week and now it doesn't play. What is the problem?

Polaroid has an excellent customer service center. If you have just purchased your unit or within 12 months from the date of purchase; they will exchange it for a 50.00 charge. If it is within 3 months from d.o.p. they will exchange it with a brand new unit for absolutely nothing! Give them a chance. As with any electronics there will always be human error, or unexplained 'quirks'. Luckily, Polaroid/Petters Consumer Brands does everything possible to provide exceptional customer service consistantly, responsibly, and courteously. (That is their motto :) )
