Last Only Two Weeks, Then Didn't Recognize Disk, U
Last only two weeks, then didn't recognize disk, use dvd+rw one time and damage the disk (damaged 16 new disk, because i thought the problem was the disks and buy difference); program record and didn't work; big headache for me, lost my favourite series, lost my money. Don't recommended, cheap item. Cost me $120. and lost it.

On 10/01/2004 I Purchased A Lite-on Lin Lvw-5001 D
On 10/01/2004 I purchased a Lite-On LIN LVW-5001 DVD Recorder. After 19 months and approximately 100 uses it appears the motor has stopped working. The discs no longer spin and the unit says "no disc". I'm very upset and thoroughly disgusted that this product has already failed, even before the batteries provided with the remote.
katzkup......unless my comprehension of the English language is faulty, I see no assumption of your 'character' in what I wrote. My concluding comment on Arnie and the double exclamation marks was meant to set the tone of the piece but it seems to have failed. Regarding politicians: whatever colour they claim to be and whatever messianic message they spout, to me they're all the same in simply wanting to step into the shoes of those they claim to despise. I think Michael Corleone's observation that 'we're all part of the same hypocrisy' was so apposite.

Bertie, you shouldn't be so assumptious regarding my character. If I had any wealth at all (currently out of work) I would not waste my time with reviews. I take my electronic products very seriously and I do a lot of homework before purchasing any durable good. As far as Arnie goes, he is a corrupt liar of a politician, just like Bush or any other from the right.
Today, I will be dropping off the piece of garbage DVD recorder back were I purchased it after expressing my disgust with the manager.
katzkup.........reviews like yours are getting quite common now: it seems a lot of these cheap entertainment gizmos have a built-in clock that nukes them shortly after the guarantee/warranty runs out. That's so as you'll go out and buy another one -- which for you rich Yanks ( and living in California you must be ) is no problem........you've got Arnie too!!
