The Jvc Hm-vdr10 Comes Highly Recommended, As The

The JVC HM-VDR10 comes highly recommended, as the record quality is much better than VHS. It is a little disappointing that you have to drop the quality to "slighty blurred" LP mode in order to record 4 hours to disk. Lots of nice features to play with, though.

I Chose This Jvc Hm-vdr10 Dvd Recorder For Its Loo

I chose this JVC HM-VDR10 dvd recorder for its looks as well as its functions. Most recorders are very blocky looking, but this is almost as slim as JVCs normal players. I am very happy with the quality of its recordings and it has extended recording, which means you can fit 6 hours of programmes onto a 3 hour disc. My only slight criticism is it takes "ages" about 10 seconds to "wake up" which is a bit of a pain if you want to record in a hurry, but i dont know if thats something common to all dvd recorders.

YES, slow to turn on..is something common to all DVD recorders.

The TOSHIBA DR-1/2 turns on ten minutes early during timer recordings. Because of that.
