Nikon D80

The nikon D80 is a 10.1 effective mp digital single line reflex camera , that is a very good product. it has more than enough options to tweak , i very much like that you can edit the menu to your taste and that with one button you can select factory default detailed or minimized options.

this camera is the last one without video option in the prosumer range. i have done intensive research on internet before the buy , i can concur that this camera is way more advanced than the D70 i had before.

it makes it possible to shoot great photo's with very fine details and great colour and sharpness that i have never seen in a product of this price before. offcourse not every camera is always foul proof but it is very easily to reset if you may forget one tweaking out of 7 made ;-)

it has a auto mode easy for non photographers , with a vibration reduction system in the interchangeable lense you hardly can get a wrong picture

I've had my D80 for three years now and found it to be an absolutely brilliant camera. It was my first Digital SLR and told that it was a good entry level camera. Over the years I have taken some wonderful photographs and please I bought the camera.

If I have one complaint it is the book of words that comes with the camera. If like me you are Dyslexic the book won't make any sense and all you can do is play around with the settings and make a note of what setting gave you the best picture under the conditions you were shooting.

The Nikon D80 is a fabulous camera in every respect, at least for me it is. Although no longer being made, if you see one at a good price anywhere, especially new, snap it up fast. Best to find the kit with the 18mm-135mm lens which is excellent. Spend a little time getting to know the settings and you will find it very easy and a joy to use. The colours and picture quality are excellent. I have just been travelling around Thailand and PDR Laos with it, and I just couldn't stop shooting - day and night. If you can stretch to the D90 then I suppose that would be better, but at the right price, this camera is a cracking recession beater.

Nikon D80 is one of the best "pound per pound". Great package for little money.Build. Easy to use. Image quality.

This must be the best value for money for a camera in this price range. If you already have a Nikon film camera you will probably find that the lenses will fit you D80. Check it out at your camera store.

Had the D80 since i upgraded from the D50, love this camera, my images really have improved, and with the recent price drop, it is value for money

The Nikon D80 is an excellent camera and the best you will get for the price by a long way. Good for enthusiasts but not quite pro standard.

The Nikon D80 is a good price, best value, top of entry level DSLR camera. Maybe could do with an update for D80 with full frame sensor ^^

I get first class results from my Nikon D80, easy to use , excellent menu, and even better than my previous camera the D70, an all round upgrade in all respects, and now even cheaper

A great camera for the price. Shop around for best deals. A good step up from my D40X. much better for manual settings and generally easier to use.
