Nikon D60 A Great Little Digital Friend

The Nikon D60 is a 10.2 effective Megapixels (MP) Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera. It is a successor to the almost identical D40x.

This camera is pretty small and very light it weighs just 495 gram(body only no card, lens or battery) makeing it a great litte digital friend for low weight hiking and still haveing a DSLR to make stunning pictures.

I have several camera's and most of them are Nikons , because i like what nikon does for a great deal. Is the D60 perfect for every body? No, the D60 is a great little digital friend but it has only 3 Autofucus fields wich are horizontal allinged , so you can choose left af field , center af field or right af field.

It shines in low iso modes, but above iso 400 noise comes in 800 is usuable with a anti noise porgram, 1600 iso only ussuable if you have to have the shot , bot know that even afeter extensive use of anti noise programs still noise will be visisble in the picture .

the lcd in the back gives all the valuable information you need and i made good images with my d60, i recoomend using it with a VR lens and buy the 16-85 , 18-105 or the 18-55=55-300 VR LENSES.

i even tried the bulky 70-300 vr lens and it works great, but you laugh your socks off when you see such a tiny camera with that lens in full length

It is a entry level camera and it can grow with a expereinced user too but no it has no pro photographers ambitions therefore it is too slow .

the camera responses fairly without Automatic D-Lightning and with a fast (lexar 133x pro card SDHC (or SD).

for the money though i can recommend it to anyone that wants a dslr that is lihgt easy to use makes good photo's especially with bright lingt at low iso's

I Have Owned Canon Camera's For The Past 20 Years

I have owned Canon camera's for the past 20 years and when it became time to upgrade to DSLR's i had 2 choices. The Nikon D60 or Canon EOS450. I was unable to obtain the Canon in time so plumped for the Nikon instead. I have never regreted the decision as i find the Nikon extreemly easy to use and the pictures it takes are great. I would recommend this camera to anyone.

Stunning Photographs Straight From The Box And Eas

Stunning photographs straight from the box and easy to understand instructions. Easy to adjust settings. The perfect camera for beginners and semi professionals alike. A superb camera at a very reasonable price.

Only had this Nikon D60 for two months and I am simply over the moon with the quality, build and simplicity.

extra lenses are a bit pricey but hopefully prices will come down.

The Nikon D60 Is A Very Easy Camera To Use At The

The Nikon D60 is a very easy camera to use at the very beginning, I had some experience with film-SLR cameras and I found this one very comfortable with displays, settings and the like. Though you can start taking pictures (nice pictures) just after taking the camera from the box, there is a huge room for exploration (and I mean with the standard kit).
