NIX TS08C 8 Inch High Resolution

seems to have all the crucial features, and also importantly has an internal battery with a lifespan of around 2 hours. sometimes the battery lasts up to 3 hours, but only when i just play photos. What i like most is that it looks quite timeless, kind of sleek black, so I'm hoping that it will last a long time and still look good in a few years. You do get the impression that unlike companies like samsung who just make products for the sake of a sale and don't worry about the future, NIX seem to be trying for something that will still work well and display your photos for a good many years (old school like Bang and Olufsson).

a really nice frame

Not a 5 star frame, but then again, I haven't seen any frame on the market that hasn't got its issues. However, this one is pretty simple but delivers on superb picture quality and a decent random function for the slideshow.

Light reflects on the screen. The images look blurry compared to a photographic paper print. It constantly consumes electricity and is a waste of space as well as being a waste of money. Maybe the next generation or two of such screens will satisfy my expectations.

Really like the simplicity of this Nix Digital Picture Frame. It's a traditional piece that focuses on displaying hi-res pictures (isn't swamped with Bluetooth or wi-fi) with random function and quite nicely, allows you you play specific folders. For me, the best thing is that it is a Cordless Frame. Battery lasts a couple of hours when charged, and it's nice to be able to remove it from its power adapter and move it around the room for a while. When I got it, I had a couple of questions about the random display that were confusing me, but their customer services emailed back straight away with solution. Now that's rare!

Just got one of these on Amazon.com. This brand seems to only have one type of frame on sale but have lots available in Europe. Shame, coz the one I got is pretty amazing for 99 bucks.

The NIX TS08C frame has more features than any other digital photo frame I have come across at this price . It's got an Auto-Rotate Motion sensor that automatically senses when you have rotated the frame and rotates your photos accordingly, an Internal Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery (2hrs for photos, 1.5hr for video), Touch Sensitive Controls set down the right hand side of the frame for improved ergonomic use. I'm glad it has a decent random slideshow option too, rather than having to sit thru sequence slideshows. Qulaity of images are pretty high standard too. The Touch Sensitive Controls are a fantastic and beautiful feature, lighting bright blue (on & off) upon your touch. With MP3 music playback, a calendar & alarm clock this frame also makes a great bedside or desktop feature. The video feature allows you to watch videos taken on your digital camera or downloaded from the Internet, and the massive 1GB internal memory provides ample memory to hold your home movies and photos.

I hope these guys bring out more ranges though.
