I Was Bought This Digital Photo Frame By My Daught

I was bought this digital photo frame by my daughter after expressing an interest in one, I would not tell her this but it is an absolute waste of money. The photographs dont even fit the frame and it doesnt adjust to fit the screen ect. We used to just plug it in when we knew she was coming round and pop it in the drawer when she went. It has now got to the point where it does not show any photos at all just a white screen and gave us an excellent excuse to throw it away. Had i known what it was like from the start i wouldn't have bothered unboxing it and just thrown it straight away.

Please do not buy one as they are absolute Cr*p

Ive Had This Sat In A Box For About A Year, And Fi

Ive had this sat in a box for about a year, and finally got round to using it. It doesnt work in any capacity apart from stupid pictures of a kid in a hat. I've tried everything with the USB stick and it doesn't even attempt to load anything.

I dont know if you can still buy these but If anyone is considering getting one, get a hammer as well because the only enjoyment you will get from it is smashing it into as many pieces as you can.

The Af701 Is Ok But I Find It Is Impossbl

The AF701 is OK BUT I find it is impossble to view my photos in the order they were taken. The random order used by the AF701 is most

annoying and disappointing.

Sites Like This Are Absolutely Brilliant. I Spent

Sites like this are absolutely brilliant. I spent 3 hours yesterday wondering what I was doing wrong. The troubleshooting part of the instructions was most unhelpful. Very frustrating. I feel better now knowing it's the Matsui PF A701 frame & not me. It was bought as a Xmas present by my son so I will keep trying by taking the photos out of the folders. Thanks again review centre.

None To Speak Of For Me Personally, I Feel You Get

None to speak of for me personally, I feel you get what you pay for. I have found this digital photo frame hard to use. Almost everything in my experience has been negative, therefore spend more and you will probably get a much better product in my opinion. U do not recommend the Matsui PF A701.

I've Just Bought The Matsui Pf A701 Digital Photo

I've just bought the Matsui PF A701 digital photo frame and have to say that I think it's pretty good value for money and would recommend it for a first-timer like myself. Ok, I had problems with the USB stick/ flash drive thingy to begin with, but looked up for help from user forums on the net and worked it out without too much trouble. And I'm definitely not a techy type! (I discovered that the flash drive doesn't like folders and is sometimes in need of reformatting to work for a digital frame - all easily done I discovered). One of my USB stick/flash drive things sticks out a bit on the side, as the other reviewer found, but my other one doesn't so I'll blame that on my chunky USB stick rather than the frame. I'm fairly pleased with the picture quality too - again, it's fine if you're just looking for a basic first buy.

Matsui Pf A701 Review - I Bought This As A Cheap

Matsui PF A701 Review - I bought this as a cheap photo frame to try out. A bit disappointing that it has no memory . It works OK but the USB stick used sticks out and looks ugly, I have yet to try it with a camera memory card but I suppose one should use that instead of a USB stick if you want it to look nice on the mantlepiece.

The picture quality is obviously not the best but it is OK. I dont expect quality at this price.

I Have A Matsui Pf-a701w 7" Digital Photo Frame.

I have a Matsui PF-A701W 7" Digital Photo Frame.

It is an absolute piece of rubbish. Not just my opinion - read the following web sites, where users have been trying to solve problems:

It was purchased as a gift, when I was in UK, but have now moved to NZ - no chance of returning it for a refund.

The shop (Dixons) passed me on to Currys as they no longer stocked it. In Currys they were out of stock but tried it and it worked first time!!!I am a retired computer professional, embarrassed and at a loss. My only guess is that I did not push the stick in hard enough. Incidently it was formatted in fat 16.

I found this review helpful because I have exactly the same problem.I have formatted a USB stick with MAC OS extened (should work on a PC) FAT and FAT32 and tried six photos 480 x 360 or less.It will have to go back.

Easy To Set Up And Customise Slide Show. The Cabl

Easy to set up and customise slide show. The cable flex is a bit on the short side. But overall I am generally satisfied with it. Picture quality not as clear as would have expected. No built in memory so you have to purchase memory card separate.

Having the same problem with my PF-A701 and wondering if you could point me to the user forums where you found the fix as haven't been able to locate them. Cheers.
