Sony HX-20V

I bought the HX20V to replace my previous Sony cybershot compact which had done 5 years of excellent service before I lost it. I was tempted by the brilliant reviews of the HX20V, and have to say they are are all justified. This is a first class camera for the £180 I paid for it on Amazon. High quality results, simple controls and exceptional HD video mean it is difficult to see when I will need to use my DSLR. It is heartening to see such a high quality product, with this level of functionality for such a competitive price. Highly recommended point and shoot camera, which has a very effective 20x zoom and excellent low light performance.

Battery life excellent. Quality of photos brillliant. Getting rid of cam corder as takes better video than the camcorder. Night time photos make it look like I actually know what I'm doing.
