Samsung Digimax A400

instantly runs the batteries out !!!..even after one picture the warning light comes on and it switches itself off. Its completely frustrating, surely there has to be something wrong with this camera... or at least the one im using.

I would highly recommend this Samsung digital camera. The photographs are clear and crisp. The macro allows you to take amazing closeups. I have used this camera to take photographs for my print website - all photographs have not been edited at all. Camera menu is easy to understand and work with although would recommend not using date stamp as appear large and very conspicuous on prints. But other than that a great little camera with a lot of great attributes.

The Samsung Digimax A400 camera is perfect for all your picture capturing moments! Its light, its quite compact, it fits on your belt nicely.

The images are every bit clear in daylight, bringing out every bit of detail. The images arn't as sharp in low light, with flash, but nothing a bit of editing can't handle. The resolution is excellent. The movie clips are very good quality, and are at a good speed of 24fps at 640 x 480. (which you can lower to 15fps for smaller file sizes). The menu is very easy to control and cycle through pictures. Software is very easy to install and understand. An overall great camera to have for all your capturing needs.

I gave battery life a 8 because it works well with rechargeable batterys. Normal AA batterys do run out quickly.
